- Describe the revenue drivers you currently include in your business concept for this class. Revenue drivers are the different ways you make money.
Current revenue drivers would be
customized and short-run t-shirts, dress shirts and jackets for men.
- Describe what kind of product offering you believe should be next. What's the next thing your customers want?
Next we need to move into the same
short run and customized type clothing for women.
- Describe how this "next" thing will enhance your existing product/service offering. Does it improve the user experience, does it increase customer switching costs, does it foster customer loyalty, etc.?
It widens the customer base.
- Go to Amazon and try to find a product that is similar to the one you want to offer next. Describe the product. Include a picture of the product.
I could not find something that was
exactly like what we are offering, since we are concentrating in more professional
clothing. Etsy would be a more appropriate venue for our line. Nonetheless, I
am showing a pair of Zara capris because Zara is known for its short run
clothing.
- What are the customer reviews for the product? What, exactly, do customers not like about the product? What do they like about it?
The product has a five star review from one customer. They
said they love the material, fit and
design.
- Describe what design/usability changes you'd make to the product.
I would like to have the same edge as
Zara clothing, except in business style clothing.
- Describe why you think this product would make a good addition to your current product/service offering.
This would be a good addition because
women love clothes. Also, I know many women who struggle finding clothing that
fits their bodies since it seems all women’s clothing is made for one body type
only.
Zoe, I think you have a good vision and believe that your next step does target another unsatisfied market segment. I agree that a lot of women don't like the way some clothes fit. I see a lot of women wearing the type of clothing shown in your picture so if you could expand that to a professional line, I'm sure it would be a success. Good job. ReplyDeleteHello Zoe, I agree with Michael that your "next" step does help target needs that would originally be unsatisfactory. There is a lot of opportunities in the fashion industry, whether it be clothing like the short run shirts and jackets all the way to footwear. Once people start to like a particular brand, they can grow very loyal! You should check out my post at http://jakesentrepreneurshipuf.blogspot.com/2016/03/amazon-whisperer.html
